HVAC estimates

HVAC repair and replacement quotes without the runaround.

Tell us what's happening — repair, replacement, maintenance, or new install — plus your system type and age. You'll get a straight answer on typical cost ranges before anyone picks up a wrench.

What HVAC work typically costs

Repairs

$150–$1,200 depending on the part — capacitors at the low end, compressors at the high end.

Full replacement

$5,000–$12,000+ based on system size, efficiency rating, and ductwork condition.

Maintenance

Seasonal tune-ups are usually a flat fee and catch most failures before they happen.

What we need for an accurate quote

Three things: the kind of work (repair, replacement, maintenance, or install), your system type (central, heat pump, mini-split, boiler), and roughly how old it is. The estimate form asks exactly these and nothing more.

Repair or replace?

A common rule of thumb: multiply the repair cost by the system age. If it's over $5,000, replacement usually wins. A 12-year-old system needing a $900 compressor is often money better spent toward a new, efficient unit — but a 6-year-old system with the same repair is usually worth fixing.

Why system age matters so much

Efficiency standards and refrigerant rules change. Systems over 15 years old often use phased-out refrigerant that makes even small repairs expensive, and their efficiency ratings can be half of current models. Age is the single biggest driver of the repair-vs-replace math.

Frequently asked

How much does an HVAC estimate cost?

Nothing. Estimates are free and come with a written number — no obligation, no sales sequences.

How much does HVAC repair usually cost?

Most repairs run $150–$1,200 depending on the part. Full system replacements typically run $5,000–$12,000+ based on system size and efficiency rating.

Should I repair or replace my HVAC system?

Multiply the repair cost by the system's age in years. Over $5,000, replacement usually makes more financial sense. Systems over 15 years old also face refrigerant and efficiency penalties.

How fast will I hear back?

Within one business day, usually faster. You'll get an email confirmation with a reference number immediately after submitting.
